Dr. Phil Scott in the Department of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh has prepared a collection of 100 Sheep Cases on CD-Rom. Each case includes digital pictures of the problem as seen by a practitioner and discussion of how to handle the case, including drug dosages when appropriate. Both the welfare of the sheep and the economics of the case are considered. Practitioners will feel as if they are visiting farms in Scotland with an experienced sheep veterinarian, seeing many ordinary cases and learning that veterinarian's approach to handling each one, using drugs available in the United Kingdom. Students will be able to visualize and learn how to diagnose and treat many conditions that they may never see in veterinary school because of the costs associated with sending sheep to a teaching hospital.

Veterinarians may purchase the CD for $50 by contacting AASRP at aasrp@aasrp.org. Dr. Scott has generously donated his CD and the proceeds after expenses will be donated to the Student Educational Opportunities Fund.
