Here is some pertinent information:
1. The FAMSS is free to attend for veterinary students. However, we do ask for a $30 deposit due by April 10 which is returned to the student upon attendance to the Symposium.

2. This event is FOR students and BY students. We have crafted the FAMSS to be engaging, social, informational, and practical to food animal veterinary practice.

3. Registration is all online. If you ever have questions, please email the Food Animal Club at

4. There are 15 wetlab opportunities this year! These are hands-on and practical skills every veterinary should learn.

5. Our speaker line-up is full of the best in their field. Check out the program for more information.

More information can be found in the program and on the registration home page.

Our Keynote Speaker at the Saturday night banquet is Dr. Lance Fox, DVM. He is a veterinarian, but also an adventurist. We are thrilled he is joining us this year and glad he isn't climbing Mt. Everest to come to Columbus.
